USAGE:
Calcium bromide is the calcium salt of hydrobromic acid with the chemical formula of CaBr2. In its solid state, it is a white powder. CaBr2 can be found in drilling fluids, neuroses medication, freezing mixtures, food preservatives, photography and fire retardants.Calcium bromide is used to prepare clear-brine workover and completion fluids.Calcium Bromide brine is used during workover and completion operations fluids. It provides inhibition preventing the hydration and migration of swelling clays and can be used for packer fluids or to adjust the density of other brine systems.
Storage and Handling:
Protect packagings from damage and keep them well closed. Store in a cool, well – ventilated, dry and shaded area. Avoid inhalation, ingestion and contact with eyes and skin.
Packaging:
Generally Calcium Bromide Brine is supplied in the following packaging:
- 340 kg plastic drums.(200L/DRUM)
- 1700 kg IBC(1000L/DRUM)
-25kg bags(SOLID)
